Crime is and always has been the largest growth industry on the planet. Crime prevention is the second largest industry but the gap is closing, thanks to the fact that so many crime prevention tools and security services are free. The only other free services of any worth are free samples. Almost everything else which is offered as free, is junk. Avoid worthless free offers, tools or services, as you could end up spending hours cleaning up your system. No commercial enterprise or legal authority can tie up all loop holes in the law.


Do not be lured into the belief that the professional versions of these tools will improve your security unless you are an IT professional developing state of the art products. They can often be incompatible with one and other and that might cause problems with your systems software. Stick to the free versions and keep up to date with new products for new threats. Never trust one manufacturer which claims to have the monopoly on crime prevention products and threats. No business is invincible.


Walk down your local High Street. You will get plenty of clues. Ask yourself what people are buying in the shops, that would be cheaper and or better, if they were delivered to a customer’s computer? There are masses of products, that you may be able to promote and sell in your own back yard. Have a look in the local shops. Could you sell subscriptions to some of the expensive magazines on the shelves? Could you locate rare books, video tutorials, sheet music, greeting cards, knitting and crochet patterns, maps or interactive tutorials, which you could sell to local people, as an Internet marketing affiliate? Use a bit of imagination. Little boys and grumpy old men like steam train pictures. A lot of people can’t resist cat pictures. Add a few to any web site that you want to promote. Do not attempt to sell or advertise anything until you have done your marketing and know that you are only selling what people want to buy.

Note. E-mail lists which you build for yourself are the only ones that are of any value whatsoever. Never buy free leads and avoid, list builders, paid clicks or any junk advertised as free money making programs. The only free products of any value are free samples of products that you will need to buy for your own business endeavours.
