How many television ads have you seen, which encourage you buy some cleaning product or disinfectant which kills all known germs? How many times have you asked yourself the question. “What about the unknown ones? That is the nature of financial and biological predators, they evolve to avoid known deterrents. Financial predators evolve more quickly on the Internet than anywhere else because Internet users are all creatures of habit and we are biologically programmed to follow the herd and respect our peers. This is a good principle but keep your eyes and ears close to the ground for threats that may have alluded the high and mighty. Criminal gangs from mafia led countries have introduced new varieties which people living in “The West” have not encountered before. What is legal in one country is illegal in another. What appears as a glowing opportunity in one country may be a danger signal in another. Do not be swayed by so called gurus who promote “the best thing since sliced bread” from the other side of the globe. The QLx3 program, heralded by many of the best known Internet marketers in the US appears extremely questionable from a British perspective. Sign up for QLx3 under one of their leaders and you are banned from revealing Oxford Credit Union Terms and Conditions on the grounds that they are strictly private. They are not private. Anybody may see them HERE. There may be loopholes in US laws that prevent members from revealing information about private investment program TOS and about guarantee and policies from British tax havens but the whole thing stinks of rat, of you live in the UK.


These are fine for people who live in the US. They are inadvisable, if you live in many countries outside the US. British and EU citizens are strongly advised to stick to payment processors and gold currency exchangers which are outside the jurisdiction of the USA to avoid legal tangles with a foreign government.


This is the biggest yarn that has ever been spun in the sales arena and it the reason that almost people who open home based business opportunities do not succeed.

There is no point in joining any matrix program, downline builder, safe list or MLM unless you have a very large mailing list or a huge network of people who already buy from you. Never buy leads. Only a very small minority earn anything from these programs. They are the biggest time and money wasters online.


Never promote their pre written emails or so called, professionally written advertising copy. Most of the affiliate products and services promoted in that manner are either yesterday’s news or The Emperor’s New Clothes. If they are not, you can bet that they have been seen time and time again. Write a personal recommendation for the products that you use and sell online. Make a name for yourself in affiliate marketing.


If you walk down your local High Street, you will get plenty of clues. Ask yourself what people are buying in the shops, that would be cheaper and or better, if they were delivered to a customer’s computer? There are masses of products, that you may be able to promote and sell in your own back yard. Have a look in the local shops. Could you sell subscriptions to some of the expensive magazines on the shelves? Could you locate rare books, video tutorials, sheet music, greeting cards, knitting and crochet patterns, maps or interactive tutorials, which you could sell to local people, as an Internet marketing affiliate? Use a bit of imagination. Little boys and grumpy old men like steam train pictures. A lot of people can’t resist cat pictures. Add a few to any web site that you want to promote. Products and services which you can sell to members of your online business communities and are essential tools for experienced and novice webmasters.



There are thousand of sites offering free web sites and free web building templates. You can whittle the selection down to a handful, if you look for those that also provide you with premium web hosting. All4webs templates are hosted on the All4hosting program. Path2Prosperity News is unable to nominate any self made millionaire or on any Internet Guru. It nominates a fictitious character “Fanny Hillman.” Fanny’s immortal words and the drawings in her “cartoon autobiography” “Memoirs of a Jewish Madam,” had me in hysteria, when I read the book almost fifty years ago. The drawings were lewd but not crude, that marvelous blend which we associate with great artists like Hogarth. If you are unfamiliar with Hogarth’s work, try to visualise Fanny as a lascivious old crone who lives in the lap of luxury. Imagine her in her “Tart’s Boudoir”, filling her fat face with martinis and pate. Visualise the smug look on that face as she reflects on her business model. “This is Business. You have got it. You sell it. You have still got it.” If I knew who had published the book or I could find the name of the real author, I would try to get permission to reproduce the drawings for an Internet network marketing tutorial. It was really good advice for anybody who wants to resell digitally delivered consumer products in this day and age.

I try to follow a lot of Fanny’s advice. I only promote web products and services which I use, enjoy using and I can sell over and over again. It takes time to create a steady stream of income from any affiliate product or service. If you do nothing but promote their mass produced affiliate page or blast their mass produced e-mail marketing letters into cyberspace, you will get bored and give up before you achieve any results. Create your own strategy, write your own sales letters and find a voice of your own. Do this and a small trickle of income from each product or service, which you promote will soon become a steady stream of income.

Example 1 Web-Stat invisible hit counters and tracking stats. Who can promote their web pages without proper tracking stats? If you use url redirect trackers on your own web pages, you are likely to be punished by the major search engines. What can you do about it? Plaster Play Bridge and your domain name on your tee shirts and walk down the street advertising your wares. Use your boobs to advertise your products or give your boob owning friends some flattering tee shirts. This is common sense Internet marketing.

Financial and biological predators are a necessary evil. All of us will end up as fodder for the decay bacteria in our gut. The best that we can do is to avoid or build up a resistance to all known germs, viruses, plagues, snakes and sharks. These species exist in the cyberspace jungle and the same rules apply. We have to develop the right mix of compassion and ambivalence to victims of financial predators. However there are always victims who appear more deserving than others and here is a case to illustrate the point.
