The Bad News

The World Wide Web is an evolving system. It is not a product of conscious design. All evolving systems (weather patterns, galaxies, empires, financial systems and biological species) follow known mathematical patterns, as they evolve. The only problem is that the mathematical patterns involved are not equations that are easily understood by normal people like accountants or business managers.

These mathematical patterns are only comprehensible to higher mathematical scholars with a sound knowledge of subjects like non linear dynamics and chaos theory. If a system evolves too quickly, some vast, eternal, mathematical planner introduces an unprecedented factor and throws the system back into chaos. If it evolves too slowly, it suffers the same fate as the dinosaurs. The only evolving systems that thrive are those that exist on the edge of chaos. Higher mathematicians can asses whether a system is evolving too quickly or too slowly. Average people can only hazard a guess.

The Good News

This type of higher mathematics is a colourful language which some of our greatest storytellers have translated into English. Have you read the book Jurassic Park or any of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation Series? If not have a try. You will enjoy a thumping good read and end up with some notion of how systems evolve and die out. The pictures in the book Jurassic Park are not the dinosaurs that we saw in the film version. They are the graphs and computer code, which illustrate the narrative and get the reader turning pages. I understand that Nick Leeson made a good job of explaining some of the basics in his autobiography but I have not read that book yet.

The central character in Jurassic Park, Ian Malcolm, tells his companions and the readers why Jurassic Park is an accident waiting to happen. He explains why nature will make sure that the venture will never succeed. You will not learn very much about higher mathematics by reading these novels but you will be able to identify sales blurb with cash flow forecasts that are complete and utter nonsense.

Why Are You Telling Me This? What Use Could This Information Be to Me?

What it means to all Internet users, is that expert opinion is invaluable in the short term. The real experts (not self acclaimed Gurus) do have tools and data at their fingertips and they can assist or motivate us in good, short term business ventures. However, when it comes to medium and long term forecasts their opinions are no more reliable than the long term weather forecast. Our opinions on subjects in which we have considerable expertise are as good as, if not better that any IT professional. Amateur astronomers and palaeontologists have made just as many discoveries as the professionals because they concentrated on areas, which were not being studied by professionals. Look for untapped or highly specialised markets.

Find a Suitable Niche Product and You Can Start Earning Immediately
.

I was browsing through the products and affiliate programs on my
Clickbank Store a few weeks ago and I.
discovered a product that would not interest many IT professionals but it was one that fired my imagination. It was an interactive bridge tutorial written by a past master David Clement. Products like this are ideal for novice and professional marketers. The game of bridge is unlikely to wane in popularity. If you have played bridge, you will know that it is not an easy game to master. If you have tried to learn bridge, you will know that a good bridge teacher is as rare as hens’ teeth. What I found was a gem, the type of product that sells its self.

David Clement has been playing bridge for over fifty years. He has been teaching the subject for over thirty years and he has a big reputation to protect. When he writes an ebook and claims that he can train a complete novice or somebody with no previous experience of the game and bring them up to club standard in a matter of months, he is unlikely to be spouting hot air. I strongly recommend David’s ebook. “
The Beginners Guide To Bridge” If you know anybody who would like to learn bridge, it would make an excellent gift! It is an absolute snip at $27 He offers a no questions asked, 90 day money back guarantee along with a free subscription to his puzzles and news ezine.

Sell Information Packages and Ebooks by Authors You Read Yourself.

There is no point trying to sell information products or ebooks, if the author does not write or produce products that you enjoy and use yourself. A very high proportion of the hyped up products turn out to be of no more value than the “Emperor’s New Clothes.” Big names come and go. Nobody knows which ones will survive for another one or two decades. The pre written sales copy that some of the big names ask you to circulate to your list is often nothing more than an attempt to blow his or her own trumpet. Who wants to waste time selling hot air?

I love the Click Bank Gurus. The brothers Rick and Ron Davies succeeded in creating order out of the Clickbank miasma. That mammoth feat speaks for itself. They produced the only fully integrated Clickbank system that is acceptable and recommended by Clickbank. Their short treatise on Clickbank is free and an eye opener. Their style of writing and down to earth common sense presentation grabbed my attention immediately. I thoroughly enjoy their writing. Please give their short “Clickbank Gurus “
Clickbank Training Course a try. It will introduce you to their inimitable style.

I have just downloaded The Clickbank Gurus new ebook.
The Idiots Guide to Web Marketing. I love it. It is easy to read, to the point and highly informative. What is more to the point is that it is easy to sell because I have striven to build a list of subscribers who enjoy the same sort of products that I do. Please take a look at the” Idiots Guide” web page.
